Pomegranate Molasses Vinaigrette Dressing

Pomegranate Molasses Vinaigrette

This simple yet delicious Pomegranate Molasses Vinaigrette turn boring old salad greens into a star. A delightful dressing that adds a burst of freshness and zing to your salads and also makes a great dipping sauce for grilled meats.

I particularly love this dressing on salads that have cheese, like the Grilled Haloumi Salad. There’s something about the salty cheese that goes so well with the sweet sour Pomegranate dressing. For this salad all you need is your choice of salad greens, topped with grilled Haloumi and dressed with Pomegranate Vinaigrette. This is one baby that you can’t put in the corner-it’s a star in itself!

What you need to make Pomegranate Vinaigrette

  • From the Pantry – Vinegar,Sugar or Honey,Minced Garlic(optional), a neutral flavoured cooking oil,salt and pepper
  • Pomegranate Molasses- Luckily, due to globalisation, pomegranate molasses can now be found in most major supermarkets in the International aisle. Asian, Middle Eastern, delis and most fruit shops also sell them. You only need a very small amount, so it’s good that the molasses last a very long time.

Easy does it…

Simply whisk or mix everything together in a jar until well combined. Easy as.
